5 Most Anticipated New Hulu Movies and Shows of Spring 2026

Hulu may not have the proverbial mountain of content, but it does have some great shows and movies coming this spring.

Among the highlights are a spinoff from The Handmaid’s Tale and a revival of Malcolm in the Middle.

Those are just two of the five most anticipated new Hulu movies and shows of spring 2026, as chosen by Watch With Us.

Our remaining picks include a wild Hulu original film, a movie that’s going to arrive fresh off its theatrical run and a British drama with some big-name cast members.

It’s March, which means it’s Moira Rose’s favorite season — “awards.” The 98th Annual Academy Awards is scheduled to take place on March 15, and Hulu is celebrating all month long with a slew of great movies and series for your viewing pleasure. Watch With Us has compiled a complete list of the new movies […]

5. ‘Mike and Nick and Nick and Alice’ (2026)

The title of Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice doesn’t fully give away the premise of the film, but this is a sci-fi action comedy and there are indeed two Nicks, both of whom are played by Vince Vaughn. Nick No. 1 has already lived through this night and seen his friend, Mike (James Marsden), get killed because of their actions. But fate and super science have given Nick a second chance and a way to go back in time.

Now, the two Nicks, Mike and Alice (Eiza González), have to find a way to survive the night with the entire criminal underworld gunning for them. No pressure, but there’s probably not going to be a do-over this time. They either put things right or they’ll put themselves into an early grave.

Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice will stream on Hulu on March 27.

4. ‘Rivals’ (2024 – Present)

The premise of Rivals may sound like it has low stakes, but that’s not the way TV executive Tony, Lord Baddingham (David Tennant), treats it. As far as Tony is concerned, his quest to destroy his rival, Rupert Campbell-Black (Alex Hassell), is fully justified and he’ll do anything to destroy his foe while consolidating his power at the same time.

Season 2 will take that rivalry to the next level, and it will also introduce Hayley Atwell as Rupert’s ex-wife, Helen Gordon. Helen has already remarried to Malise Gordon (Rupert Everett), but she’ll undoubtedly play a large role in the continuing conflict between Rupert and Tony.

Rivals season 2 will premiere on Hulu on May 15.

3. ‘Send Help’ (2026)

There have been a few romance movies that have set-ups similar to Send Help. But this isn’t that kind of film. Rachel McAdams stars as Linda Liddle, a meek office worker at a financial management company now run by Bradley Preston (Dylan O’Brien). Bradley is a jerk of the highest order and sets out to ruin Linda’s life and career simply because he doesn’t like her. But when their company plane goes down, Linda and Bradley are the only survivors who make it to a secluded island.

Linda’s survival skills quickly shift the power balance between Linda and Bradley, which means she’s calling the shots now. Bradley can protest all he wants, but he’s getting back the abuse that he heaped upon Linda. Now that Linda has power over Bradley, she may never let him go.

Send Help will stream on Hulu this spring.

2. ‘Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair’ (2026)

Malcolm in the Middle has been off the air for almost two decades, but most of the show’s cast will soon reunite for the four-part miniseries, Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair. Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) has found that the secret to having a good life is keeping his family as far away from him as possible. His daughter, Leah (Keeley Karsten), and his girlfriend, Tristan (Kiana Madeira), have never even met his parents or siblings. But that’s about to change.

Hal (Bryan Cranston) and Lois (Jane Kaczmarek) are celebrating their 40th anniversary, and not even Malcolm can weasel his way out of that. That means he’ll soon be spending time with his siblings, including Francis (Christopher Masterson), Reese (Justin Berfield), Dewey (Caleb Ellsworth-Clark), Jamie (Anthony Timpano) and Kelly (Vaughan Murrae).

Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair will premiere on Hulu on April 10.

1. ‘The Testaments’ (2026)

The Testaments is a spinoff from The Handmaid’s Tale that returns to the nation of Gilead, which was once known as the United States. The story of June Osborne (Elisabeth Moss) is over for now, but her daughter, Agnes MacKenzie (Chase Infiniti), has now grown up in Gilead, and she’s known no other life but this one.

Chase Infiniti plays June’s daughter in The Handmaid’s Tale spinoff — but she didn’t meet Elisabeth Moss until she was nearly done filming The Testaments. “I actually didn’t get to meet Elisabeth Moss really until the end [of filming],” Infiniti, 25, told People earlier this month. Infiniti, who plays Hannah a.k.a Agnes on the upcoming […]

As Agnes is trained to become a handmaid alongside other girls her age, she meets Daisy (Lucy Halliday), a new recruit from Canada who is secretly loyal to the resistance. Daisy’s mission could be Agnes’ way out of Gilead, if the former can convince the latter that there’s more to her life than being enslaved and forced to be a breeder for powerful men.

The Testaments will premiere on Hulu on April 8.
