The Age of Attraction cast has gone through shocking splits since the finale.
Netflix released the conclusion on March 25, with each pair taking a break after living together to figure out their next steps. Some reunited on a hill in Canada to proclaim their love for their partner on the show, while others decided to part ways. They then offered updates during exclusive interviews with Us Weekly — and the reunion — about where they stand now.
Before the show premiered, stars Andrew, Chris, John, Logan, Derek, Libby, Vanessa, Theresa and Leah addressed the backlash to the show.
“Initially the response [was so strong] because there wasn’t a lot of information when it was first released. The concept of the show made people go, ‘Oh, my God, here we go. A bunch of old and creepy guys with young girls,’” Andrew exclusively told Us Weekly. “I think Netflix has done a great job with the trailers and what they put out there to clarify that that’s not what this is going to be about.”
Andrew teased how the show is “going to test it both ways,” adding, “There’s older women with younger guys. There’s younger guys with older women. Now, it’s leveling out. There’s still some people hating on it, but you’re always going to have that. But I think some people — the majority — are curious and looking forward to seeing it unfold.”
His partner on the show, Libby, had a similar outlook on the backlash.
“I would say my hope is that people maybe approach the way that they’re thinking about me with an open mind. It would be natural to think that there was a young and naive girl with an older guy,” Libby, who is 16 years younger than Andrew, explained. “That’s the stereotype that you’re used to. But I really don’t feel like Andrew and I had a lot of differences — and I found a lot of similarity between us. I understand your concerns 100 percent but I don’t find our relationship concerning.”
Theresa, meanwhile, urged viewers not to judge before watching.
“I would hope that people come with an open mind and leave their preconceived notions outside and just see what actually happens,” she shared with Us after matching on screen with John, who is 27 years her junior. “Because it’s love. After all, we’re not talking about hurting each other, we’re talking about finding connection, and that’s all that really matters. It’s the most important thing.”

Libby and Andrew

After finding out about their 16-year age gap, Libby and Andrew stayed together — and are still a couple now.
“We still are very much happy. It feels like we’re still in the honeymoon phase because we’re doing the long-distance thing,” he gushed exclusively to Us Weekly. “We’re still together and trying to [get rid] of the long distance thing here very soon.”
Derrick and Pfeifer

The pair met when Derrick was 43 and Pfeifer was 23. They chose to be together in the finale but ultimately called it quits.
“Unfortunately, we’re not together anymore, but it ended on good terms. We talked it out and it is where she was in life,” Derrick told Us. “Obviously, the distance was a big challenge as well. I think once you get back in the real world with anything, you have your friend circles and people you listen to and they can influence you. We ended where we still communicate. So I’m so thankful for the experience and [I have] nothing bad to say about it at all.”
John and Theresa

The first couple to form a connection on the show — who have a 27-year age gap — ended the show as a couple but are no longer together.
“Age ended up being an issue for her, and I think I’m thankful for going through this experience with her,” John explained to Us. “That being said, it will be weird knowing where we are now and then seeing it be portrayed. Reliving all those emotions on screen will be a little uncomfortable for both of us.”
Vanessa and Logan

The duo, who have a 20-year age gap, got engaged in the finale, and according to Logan, they are “still very much together and doing the long-distance thing.”
“We are figuring out our lives. It has been difficult, but we see each other once or twice a month — depending on what month it is,” he noted to Us. “But we’re very much happy and we’re moving forward together in life. That’s all I can ask for coming out of this.”
Chris and Leah

The pair, who share a 15-year age difference, ended their relationship in the finale.
“I didn’t decide to continue but am very blessed because the communication has still been there and the respect has been there,” Chris explained to Us. “We spent time together yesterday and it was super fun — not weird at all. If anything, it was the opposite. I was able to talk to her about the last few months, and we were very comfortable.”
