Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s split is getting downright ugly.
On Tuesday, April 7, Bravo released the official trailer for season 1 of Summer House’s new spinoff, In the City. In the shocking sneak peek, Kyle and Amanda appear more divided than ever after announcing their separation.
“We don’t have a prenup, but if you come for me, I’ll come for you,” Amanda shares during a tense conversation.
“That would be a losing battle,” Kyle replies.
Without backing down, Amanda turns the tables before asking, “Are you threatening me?”
Back in January, Us Weekly confirmed that Kyle and Amanda called it quits after four years of marriage. While viewers are getting a sense of what went wrong with the relationship leading up to the pair’s split during the latest season of Summer House, rumors of infidelity continue to swirl on In the City.
“Who was in our apartment last night while I’m asleep?” Amanda asks her estranged husband. “Do you know how many times you’ve cheated on me?”
As if the back-and-forth between the pair isn’t enough, fans are likely to scream when they see Amanda reunite with Summer House costar West Wilson.
“Hey cutie,” Amanda says before greeting her friend with a hug. West replies, “Hey Mandie.”
While the moment may appear innocent once the show premieres, fans will be looking for any signs of the pair’s platonic relationship evolving into something more after they confirmed their romance on March 31.
“Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care,” Amanda and West said in joint statements via their Instagram Stories. “As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.”
Kyle and Amanda — and even West — are certainly not the only stars making waves on In the City.
Former Summer House stars Danielle Olivera and Andrea Denver will join the cast with their respective partners, Eoin Heavey and Lexi Sundin. Other new faces include Bachelor Nation’s Whitney Fransway and her boyfriend Kenny Martin, Gavin Moseley, Katie Arundel, Georgina Ferzli, Nick Barber and Yvonne Najor.
