Love Is Blind season 9 alum Patrick Suzuki has an unexpected connection to another reality TV star: New Bachelorette Taylor Frankie Paul.
“Good luck to an old classmate,” Patrick, 31, wrote via TikTok on Tuesday, March 17, sharing a video as he flipped through his middle school yearbook.
A childhood photo of Patrick, who was briefly engaged to Kacie McIntosh for a few hours on the Denver-based season of Love Is Blind, was featured on one page. Patrick flipped the page to reveal a throwback image of Taylor Frankie Paul (née May).

Taylor, 31, was named the season 22 Bachelorette in fall 2025 after she and on-off boyfriend Dakota Mortensen called it quits. She went to film the Bachelor Nation show shortly after hooking up with Dakota, 33, despite proclaiming on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives that she wanted a clean break.
Taylor returned to Utah in December 2025, where Mormon Wives was already in production on season 5. Filming was abruptly paused earlier this month after Taylor and Dakota were allegedly the subject of a domestic violence investigation.
“There’s more to the context to everything and it’s unfortunate,” Taylor exclusively told Us Weekly on Tuesday at a Bachelorette press event. “It’s been hard, and it sucks to be in this position. And the mother that I am, that is something I will always stand my ground on. I believe that I am a good mother and I have always treated my kids very well.”

She continued, “I have always treated my children with respect and I’ve never touched them, so it’s been really hard.”
Taylor shares two children with her ex-husband, Tate Paul, as well as 23-month-old son Ever with Dakota. The DadTok member has also broken his silence on the situation.
“His No. 1 priority here is protecting Ever,” a rep for Dakota told Entertainment Weekly on Wednesday, March 18. “He knew there was a possibility it could come out, but he was not going to be the one to proactively do that because he has always wanted a decent relationship with Taylor. It’s been really hard to achieve that, but he wants to coparent well.”
The statement added, “He was just hoping that if he says nothing, as he usually does, it would go away. He’s never done any kind of sit-down interview about his side. He kind of just lets it all happen to him, and I think he realizes with the severity of everything now that he just can’t do that.”
Amid the investigation, a source told Us that Taylor and Dakota don’t have any “communication at all.”
“Everything regarding custody of Ever is handled through family members,” the insider added.
Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette premieres on ABC Sunday, March 22, at 8 p.m. ET.
