Taylor Swift Attends 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards

Taylor Swift returned to the spotlight at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards after taking a well-deserved break from the public eye.

The pop superstar, 36, attended the awards show at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre on Thursday, March 26, marking her first official event of the year.

The singer posed on the red carpet wearing a pale green corset, which was adorned with silver appliqués, and a matching mini skirt in the same hue that showed off her tanned and toned legs. Dressed by stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer, Swift complemented the outfit with satin open-toe heels and pinned half her hair back behind her ears while the rest fell over her shoulders. She opted for ethereal glam makeup, ditching her signature red lip.

Swift is nominated for nine awards at the ceremony, including Song of the Year, Pop Song of the Year, Favorite TikTok Dance, Best Lyrics and Best Music Video for “The Fate of Ophelia,” Favorite On Screen for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era, Favorite Tour Style for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, Pop Artist of the Year and Artist of the Year.

Prior to the 2026 event, Swift was already a 34-time iHeartRadio Music Awards winner, making her the most-awarded artist in the show’s history. Her past accolades include three Artist of the Year trophies as well as the Innovator Award and Tour of the Century for The Eras Tour.

In the months leading up to the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Swift has kept a low profile, retreating from the spotlight after attending fiancé Travis Kelce’s last Kansas City Chiefs home game of the NFL season on Christmas Day in 2025. Since then, the couple have been spotted on rare public dates, dining at Beverly Hills restaurant Funke in January and New York City hotspot Chez Margaux in February.

Swift also skipped several major awards shows, including the Grammys in February and the Oscars earlier this month. Despite not attending the actual ceremonies, Swift was reportedly spotted at multiple afterparties. She celebrated with friends after the Grammys, while Kelce, 36, reportedly joined her at Oscars soirees hosted by Beyoncé and Jay-Z and Madonna and Guy Oseary.

Despite flying under the radar in public, Swift has still been promoting her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, since its October 2025 release. She debuted her star-studded “Opalite” music video — featuring cameos by Domhnall Gleeson, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, Lewis Capaldi, Graham Norton and Cillian Murphy — in February, and the single hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart later that month.

Behind the scenes, Swift also supported Kelce as he decided to return to the Chiefs for another season.

“We share the same love for what we do,” he said on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show earlier this month. “Fortunately, we’ve had this desire since we were kids in our selective professions. It’s amazing to see her keep going to the table, keep finding new things to write about, keep finding new melodies and things like that. On top of that, still seeing her have that love and joy in what she does.”

Kelce confirmed at the time that Swift influenced his choice to put off retirement.

“Of course that’s motivating. That’s motivating for anybody, let alone my fiancée,” he noted. “I’m going through something trying to figure out what exactly the future holds for me. Something like that definitely motivates me to say, ‘You know what, I’m not done either. I’ve still got some ideas in the back of my mind. I’ve still got some juice left to play this game.’”

Outside of their careers, Swift and Kelce have been planning their wedding after getting engaged in August 2025. Despite plenty of speculation, no official details have been revealed about the upcoming nuptials.
